Ever wanted to “predict” someone’s future and the origami fortune tellers have gotten boring? Well, time to whip out two six-sided dice and predict like in the olden days.
Sounds difficult to build just the right amount of fortunes, doesn’t it? It is only moderately difficult. First, you need to fill out a table with the unique dice combinations (hint: there’s 21) and add a fortune for each of these (again, hint: there will be 21 different fortunes).
Now, you need to find a rube – erm – participant. Roll the dice and secretly look up on the table their fortunes! If you want to be like the ancient Greeks of Athens, you could even ask for some sort of payment in exchange. I recommend a small snack!
Onward towards the table! What does it look like? Below is a sample which lists all the different (again, hint: 21) combinations.
